Wedding Wednesday: Bridesmaid Jewelry with Kendra Scott

IMG_4760Sincere apologies for the delayed wedding post. Aaaaand the planning continues. Earlier this week, I was fortunate to meet with the lovely ladies at Kendra Scott, who helped design jewelry for my bridesmaids. I took advantage of the Color Bar, which is an interactive tool where you choose the following:
Style
⇒ Earrings, Necklaces, Bracelets, Rings

Metal
⇒ Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Gunmetal

Stone
⇒ Tons of colors ranging from rose quartz to ivory pearl to teal magnesite

IMG_4764I really enjoyed feeling part of the process as well as being given an opportunity to provide my input in terms of what I liked and what I thought each of my bridesmaids would like stylistically. With bridal gifts in mind, my ultimate goal was to give items I know the girls will use/wear again. The color bar made it easy to stay within budget, choose the exact style I was envisioning and match the stone color to the dress color + style. Added bonus: there were so many great options for my dress colors – burgundy and blush!

It is easy to go overboard, but remember the girls standing by your side will like anything you pick. Three pieces of criteria I kept in mind were 1) Meaningful and 2) Practicality 3) Budget friendly. Establishing criteria before looking makes the search more fun and much more bearable. IMG_4766

IMG_4756On another note, time is moving incredibly quickly and I’m beginning to feel anxious. There is still a lot to do, but I am confident everything will fall into place the way it’s supposed to. My first bridal shower is next weekend (yay!) and I couldn’t be more excited to gather with all those closest to me and kick off the wedding festivities. Cheers to what’s ahead!
