IMG_3978Full disclosure, I am a sucker for Valentine’s Day. Not only does the holiday inspire love, romance and surprises, it also brings out the color in my wardrobe choices. I love this blush pink vest because it can be worn both dressed up or dressed down. I used it to jazz up my all black ensemble but can definitely envision it with boyfriend jeans and a casual white tee. I am really looking forward to Valentine’s Day this year – Corey and I will be spending it with my adorable nephew Jack. My sister and brother-in-law deserve some R&R, so we will be babysitting for the day! Isn’t that what the holiday is really about? Showing infinite amounts of love for those closest to us? Consider it done. I’m also thrilled we have next Monday off for President’s Day! I predict it will be a rather low key day seeing we have a big week full of birthday celebrations (both Corey & me!) and preparing for our weekend getaway to Minneapolis. I cannot wait to spend some time away, even though temps are nearing 0 degrees. I think we’ll be able to handle it until we are sitting outside for the Blackhawks stadium series game, shivering out butts off. But hey, I think I can sacrifice a few hours in the cold for my fiance’s obsession for the Hawks, #truelove if you ask me. Can’t wait to bring you Valentine’s Day Outfit Inspiration Part II tomorrow! Until then, sending love + hugs to all!
