I’ve been thinking a lot about what I am thankful for this year. I genuinely feel this has been one of the best years of my life. I married the man of my dreams on the most beautiful Fall day in Chicago (conveniently the same day the Cubs clinched for the World Series!), which I am so grateful for. As I get older, I find that gratitude and appreciation of what we have is so crucial for our overall happiness and satisfaction. If we’re striving toward buying or having more, we lose sight of what and who we already have right in front of us. I wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving and hope that presence with self and loved ones takes front and center this holiday season.
I am most looking forward to quality time with family and friends over these next few days. I’ll be snuggled up in my new favorite cashmere sweater and blanket scarf from ASOS (restocked in a variety of colors and patterns!). It is supposed to be a brisk day, so a casual + cozy look seems very fitting.
