Welcome to the new and improved See Happiness Through! I’ve been so excited to share my custom design with all of you – having a blog that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and easy to navigate are two things incredibly important to me. I’m also psyched about my Photography page, showcasing all my work ranging from travel, portrait and food photography (still in process of getting uploaded and organized!). Now onto some fashion. Full disclosure – the camel vest I am wearing was a risky buy for me. I am 5’2, so buying a long jacket vest was outside my comfort zone, but I am pretty thrilled with how it turned out with an all black ensemble. The vest added a subtle complexity to a simple outfit. Add a wide brim hat, classic gold jewelry and some stylish yet functional suede booties and you got yourself a weekend outfit. This statement is my motto for the venture I am currently taking with my closet. Have you read the buzz-worthy book “The Life-changing Magic of Tidying Up” by Marie Kondo yet? If not, this book is a must. I have not yet fully read it, but have flipped through a few chapters and have picked up some great organization + declutter tips. One of my intentions for 2016 is to spend wisely, especially when it comes to clothes/shoes/bags. My goal is to build a wardrobe filled with basics that I can resort to daily versus a collection of trendy items that I sometimes force myself to wear out of guilt. Excited to bring more simplistically neutral looks your way in the coming weeks!
