Our Wedding: Part II

And just like that, we’ve been married for about three months now. I look forward to these wedding day recaps because it takes me right back to each incredible moment. In the last Wedding Wednesday recap post, I included photos from getting ready and our first look. Keeping with the flow of the day, this week’s post recaps photos and time spent with our bridal party as well as our ceremony at Holy Family Church. I can’t really explain how much happiness both Corey and I felt on our wedding day. In some ways, the day feels like it passes you by which is why this notion of ‘be present‘ was so crucial for me to understand beforehand.

While browsing the photos from the day, I stopped several times for moments of self reflection. One moment in particular was walking down the aisle with my Dad to be then joined by my step dad Ron. The act of two people who I love so much giving me away to the man I’d call my husband brought me to tears.

Our faces in these photos tell a story. A love story where two individuals experienced incredible growth, overcame heartbreak and found joy in one another.

To my husband Corey, I couldn’t imagine a better and more fulfilling ending than standing in the middle of the street dancing with you.
