Merry Christmas! I’m so excited to share our holiday home tour with you. Christmas is my favorite holiday and having our own home to decorate this year made it even more enjoyable. We moved into our house about 6 months ago, so a few areas and rooms are still a work in progress in terms of furnishing, art/photos on the wall, lighting, décor, etc. I primarily focused on the entryway, family room and kitchen, adding hints of Christmas cheer wherever I could without the rooms feeling overdone. I refrained from spending a lot on decorations – my goal was to spend more on quality items. My go-to stores for both quality and affordability include: HomeGoods, Target (the new Hearth & Hand with Magnolia line was a big hit this season!), CB2 and Pottery Barn. I love how our holiday décor turned out and feel so grateful to spend today laying low with my husband. I wish you and your loved ones joy, health and happiness for the remainder of this holiday season and wish you the best as we prepare to ring in the New Year!
I’ve been taking some time to reflect on what I strive to focus on in 2018 – both personally and professionally. One of my major goals is to dedicate more time and energy to See Happiness Through. I know consistency is key and this is an area I’ve struggled with. I am still reflecting on why this is the case. One thing I keep reminding myself is I blog for me and because it is a creative outlet (through my love for both photography as well as writing) – I don’t want this to feel like work or a nightly chore. I’m excited where my creativity and thought process takes me in 2018. Again, thank you for following along and all the support!
