With so many affordable and stylish at-home gifts on the market, shopping for the hostess/entertainer in your life should be simple. Some of my favorite stores to explore for all my hosting needs include:

Anthropologie // Crate & Barrel // Williams-Sonoma // Sur La Table // West Elm // Nordstrom At Home

I’ve rounded up my top ten gift ideas for the entertainer in your life. Corey and I have six Christmas gatherings to attend this year (you heard that right – six Christmases!), so stocking up on cute wine bags was necessary. I love this set of 2 Merci! wine bags from Shopbop, the best part being they are reusable! I think it is important, polite and kind to bring a small token of appreciation for the host, given all the preparation/cleaning/cooking they have to do.

When it comes to candles (my personal favorite gift!), I gravitate toward scents fitting to whatever season we’re in. With Christmas and a long winter ahead of us, my scent of choice includes any pine/balsam/cedar aroma. One I recently discovered is Williams-Sonoma Fraser Fir, a fresh fragrance derived from essential oils (and currently 20% off!). Along the same line, nice hand soap is something I stray from buying myself but it’s something I flock to in any bath + kitchen department. I’m dying to gift myself the Aesop Aromatique hand wash.  Something as practical as hand soap can also be a luxurious gift for loved ones this holiday season.

Any kitchen gadget that can be used for entertaining throughout the year is a win-win. Whether it be a gold pineapple wine stopper, oven mitt & potholder or polished copper measuring cups, all of these fall at the corner of essential and practical. In the market for something a bit more personalized? The marble monogram board from Williams-Sonoma or Mango Wood Serving Boards & Holder is perfect for the girlfriend who loves to cook or the newlywed couple in your friend circle (a thoughtful first Christmas gift idea!).

Less of a thank-you, but more of a gift, the stemless wine glasses and Host cookbook is an ideal match. Gather ideas from this all-encompassing cookbook for your next soirée while sipping on your favorite glass of wine.
