Just as I thought summer temps were on their way out, today’s humidity proved me wrong. I’m not complaining because come February, I’ll be staring out our apartment window watching the snow pouring down. I’m slowly starting to phase out my floral dresses, quickly being replaced with basic transitional pieces. One being this texture stitch tank from Ann Taylor LOFT, which comes in three colors: sage (pictured here), white and coral. I usually steer away from sweater tanks since they tend to make me feel bulky, but I’ve pushed my insecurities to the side and embraced it! I really love how it complements this dainty and refined skirt from White House Black Market. The skirt is currently only available in rainforest green, but is 50% off!
I’ve been thinking a lot about my blog and what I want this little creative space of mine to represent and accomplish. But then I thought – why does this space have to accomplish something? While I strive to dedicate as much time as I can to this creative corner, it proves difficult at times. Some weeks I am highly motivated and determined to take photos and brainstorm content ideas and other weeks, my brain power to produce unique and original content is like a sinking ship. I’m pretty certain I am not the only one who experiences the roller coaster of blog dedication. The moral of the story is this: this is my space to be anything I want it to be…I am not limited to style or food or travel. I can make it what I want, in whatever mindset I am in.
I’m excited to keep growing this space and distributing unique content for all you awesome people who follow along with me. Cheers to consistency and hard work!
